The Bar Association of Frederick County is a growing organization currently comprised of over 340 attorneys actively practicing law in Frederick County and throughout the state of Maryland.  Our members are committed to advancing the administration of justice, to upholding standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession, to encouraging legal education, and cultivating a spirit of cordiality and respect among the members of the Bar and Judiciary. The Bar Association’s monthly business luncheon meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at Danielle's, Everdy Square and Shab Row, 6th N. Street. Free parking behind the restaurant. The meetings begin at noon starting with a delicious lunch, a presentation by a guest speaker, a business meeting and occasionally door prizes. Lunches are $14 per person. As a member of the Bar Association, you will receive the Association’s monthly newsletter, which contains Association news, event announcements, an events calendar, job postings, classified ads, member notes and much more.  You will also be included in the Bar Association Directory, which contains contact information for all Association members and is updated twice a year and is available to download on this website once you are a member. Membership in the Bar Association will also give you the chance to interact with other Frederick County attorneys in a social setting at our Happy Hours, Golf Tournament, Picnic, Dinner with the Judges, Holiday Party and other events. The Bar Association also provides many opportunities for community service such as sponsoring the Salvation Army’s Thanksgiving Dinner, hosting a Charity Art Auction, ringing bells for the Salvation Army, conducting Mock Senior Interviews and Mock Trials, as well as other monthly special projects.
